Via Miraleste is located in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood. One mile to downtown Palm Springs, and close to everything you love about Palm Springs: restaurants, nightlife, golf, hiking, tennis, shopping, and the aerial tram.
The Racquet Club Estates were developed between 1959 and 1962 by the Alexander Construction Company and architect William Krisel. Each house in the Estates offered buyers identical floorplans designed specifically for weekend and vacation getaways. However, Krisel achieved a variety of distinctive exterior design styles through combinations of two different street orientations and five different roofline options. Houses in the Estates appealed to buyers because of their open floorplans, high ceilings, and expansive lot sizes averaging 10,000 square feet.
Today, many of these mid-century houses (including Via Miraleste) have been renovated and enhanced, and a dedicated neighborhood organization works to preserve and celebrate the history of this great Palm Springs neighborhood.
